What's new in Butler - September 10, 2026
📨 Forward any email to Butler
**Forward it, it's on your calendar.** Forward an email to [private email redacted] from the address on your Butler account and Butler pulls out every event, deadline, or appointment in it and adds them to your Google Calendar. A school week and a one-hour info call in the same email become two events, with the join link and phone numbers saved in the notes. Type a line above the forwarded message like "add to the family calendar" and it goes there.
📅 Named calendars and all-day events
**"Add it to the family calendar" now works.** Butler can see every calendar on your Google account and put an event on the one you name. Multi-day things like a camp week or a trip land as all-day blocks instead of a made-up time. If Google isn't connected yet, Butler asks you once and then finishes the job.
⏰ Times you can read
**No more robot timestamps.** When Butler asks you to confirm a calendar event, you'll see "Mon, Sep 14, 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM PDT", in your timezone, not an ISO string.
🙅 Skip or snooze suggestions
**"Not now" is gone.** Suggestions on your home screen now have Skip (never show this again, in any wording) and Snooze a week. Dismissed suggestions used to sneak back the next day with slightly different wording. They don't anymore. ---
