What's new in Butler - April 14, 2026

Flight booking assistance expanded at the time

When Butler finds your flight, you can now pay and book right in the chat. Butler shows a card entry form powered by Stripe (via Duffel Payments). Enter your card, tap "Pay & Book," and Butler books the flight instantly. No redirects, no leaving the app. If the booking fails after payment, you're refunded automatically.

Phone calls now execute after approval

Previously, Butler would say "Ready to call - approve to proceed" but the call was never made after approval. Now when you approve a phone call, Butler immediately dials using the Bland AI calling service. You'll see the full transcript and summary when the call completes.

Shopping workflow support expanded at the time

Butler can now find products and create direct purchase links for Amazon, Target, Walmart, Instacart, and more. For Amazon, Butler builds a one-click cart link - all your items added to your Amazon cart in a single tap. Just checkout. For groceries on Instacart, each item gets its own search link at your local store.

Admin: retry stuck tasks

Admins can now retry any stuck or failed task from the admin dashboard. Expands the task, click "↻ Retry task" - resets pending steps and re-triggers execution.

Butler knows you - stops asking for info it already has

Butler now stores your personal details (name, DOB, email, phone, KTN) in your world model and uses them automatically for bookings. No more being asked "What's your full legal name?" every time you book a flight.

Clean chat - no more leaked XML or fake confirmations

Butler's chat no longer shows raw XML tags, fake function calls, or made-up booking references. Three layers of sanitization ensure you only see clean, readable messages.

World model learns from your tasks

When you provide personal details in any task (name, DOB, passport number, etc.), Butler now saves them to your profile automatically. You only need to give your info once - Butler remembers it forever.
