What's new in Butler - April 12, 2026
Flight booking assistance expanded at the time
Butler can now book flights for you. Pick a flight, approve the charge, and Butler books it - no leaving the app. Your card on file from Pro subscription is used automatically. If the airline booking fails, your card is refunded instantly.
Smart approve/reject buttons
Approve and Reject buttons now only appear when Butler is about to take a real action (book a flight, send an email, make a call). When Butler is presenting options for you to choose from, you see "Type your choice below" instead of confusing approve buttons.
Clickable links in chat
Links in Butler's messages are now tappable - hotel search links, airline URLs, and any other links open directly in your browser instead of showing as plain text.
No more hallucinated actions
Butler will never say "Confirmed" or "Booked" unless the booking actually went through. If something fails, Butler tells you what happened honestly.
Push notifications first, email as fallback
If you have push notifications enabled, Butler sends a push instead of an email. No more double-buzzing.
Old URL redirect
butler-psi.vercel.app now redirects to trybutler.xyz automatically.
Execution engine overhaul - Butler thinks and acts like a real EA
15 fixes to how Butler plans, executes, and communicates. The biggest changes: Butler now uses its tools when you ask for actions (no more "I cannot send emails"), plans include action steps by default (email, call, book - not just research), every step that asks a question pauses for your input, email drafts are previewed before sending, corrections cascade to all remaining steps, frustrated replies get a brief apology before the fix, and multi-step tasks end with a synthesis instead of raw step dumps. Full list in the repo commit history.
